The staff were really helpful, especially when sorting out my check-in process. Consider staying here if you're on a budget and need a decent place near the attractions.

location is excellent. It is located near Castel Sant Angelo (Piazza Cavour), only 10 minutes walk from the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Fontana Di Trevi, etc.. Its location is in a safe and quiet area, is important to rest after a long day of walking. hotel reception is located on the first floor and is open 24 hours a day. There is an elevator with capacity for 2 people. room and bathroom are small but they have everything necessary for a good stay. There is a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, minibar, electric kettle and some cups with coffee and tea to be served. window of the room has double glazing, mattress is comfortable and pillows are a little hard (this goes in tastes according to the preference of each person). bathroom is small but has everything you need. shower is small, hotel provides shampoo, soap, towels and towels with daily renewal. It also has a hair dryer. staff that attends the hotel is of the best. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you choose the option of breakfast I tell you that it is very complete and varied (eggs, bacon, etc), different types of breads, jams, croissants, fruits, juices, natural juices, etc. wifi was very good, you can see it from 300 meters away, for some reason my room did not take a signal. Luckily it was only for a few days, then it got a little better. From Fuimicino you can get to the hotel by train, taxi (48 euros) or shuttle to piazza Cavour (6 euros- Sit Bus Shuttle).
The pillows are a little hard for our taste. The problem with the wifi signal in the room (only in the area of my room), as I commented the hard problem was only a few days, then it improved. In the rest of the hotel the signal was impeccable.

Location
Reception too small and apart from one member of staff who did her best and a couple who was almost friendly - others were frustrated, disinterested or plainly under pressure . Queues for checking in or out (or even for everyday queries) ridiculous! Sunday breakfast staff did not turn up - explanation was that the breakfast was provided by a different company so outside of their control

Perfect Base for Exploring Rome
The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short stroll from popular attractions like the Vatican and the Spanish Steps, made sightseeing so easy. The staff were helpful, providing great recommendations for local dining spots and sharing interesting stories about the city's history. The shower could use a bit more space. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to explore the city!

Good breakfast, convenient enough location. Responsive hotel staff. Special thanks to the reception staff, who reacted promptly to appeals to them.
Rooms require minor repairs. The bathroom curtain with mildew, the toilet flush was working or not. The mattress is very old, not smooth with a recess in the middle. Reserved room with a large bed, but the hotel can move only 2 small ones together. Sleeping was not comfortable. In the old building, the hallway where the rooms go out is not heated. It was very cold there. WIFI was working or not... In general, you can live, but all the time you have to put up with some inconveniences.

is the best hotel in our trip (we visited 4 cities in Italy). Firstly, we arrived at the hotel at 9. 00, we were told that they would do everything possible to check us in by 11. 00. We were invited to have breakfast so that we could rest from the road (we were complimented). Everyone told us, helped us get our bearings. Girls at reception are a miracle, top of client service. I would hold on to them if I were the owner. Breakfast is very good for the category of this hotel (there are muesli, fresh and grilled vegetables, pastries and desserts, croissants, meat and cheese cuts, fresh fruit, eggs of 3 kinds!!!, natural coffee, freshly squeezed juice). Anyway, we fell in love with breakfast. Room: clean, spacious, windows in the floor, few modes of lighting, spacious, good beds (although we did not have a double, just combined 2). In the room we just did not like the bathroom, it needs repair, you can see that everything is clean and people are trying. Location: good, we walked to the subway, to the street with boutiques and all sorts of shops, to the Temple of Angel and Vatican. It's all close by. Go to this hotel, it really tries to please its guests. They do tastings from 6. 30 pm to 8. 00 pm with snacks and wine (snacks are hard to call because it's almost a full dinner: pasta, dessert, slices, salads, wine). Everything was delicious.
They didn't like the condition of the bathroom, they could use a repair. The shower room is in bad condition, the faucets and bathroom fittings are old. No hair cap, no bathrobes (and they were in the photo).

The hotel is charming, housed in a beautiful 19th-century mansion, and located on a quiet street, making it easy for seniors like myself to enjoy the surroundings and explore the lovely nearby attractions without stress.
A larger shower space would enhance comfort.

Sant'angelo is in a fantastic location, with st peter's and other attractions just a short walk away. The staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. With lots of nearby restaurants serving amazing food, we enjoyed our meals outside.
i do recommend.

The location of the hotel was excellent for walking to most of the sights that we wanted to visit. Staff were very accommodating at all times.
Not really anything we did not like but some suggestions. I think it would have been good to be informed that refurbishment work was being carried out during our stay and also to make visitors aware that gaining entry into the building after a specific time can be a little confusing as there is more than one buzzer for Reception. After the first occasion everything was resolved. Also it would be beneficial to highlight the entry/lift access better.

Staff were particularly helpful and accommodating, especially when dealing with my payment issue, allowing cash after my card was stolen. The room, although compact, was clean, and I appreciated the happy hour in the evenings with complimentary snacks and drinks. The air conditioning system felt outdated and could use an upgrade, and the lack of dedicated parking was slightly inconvenient.

Definitely, the price-quality ratio is excellent. Firstly, you can get from Fiumincino Airport by shuttle in about 40 minutes. From the airport, this is the second stop (near the Vatican), cost 6 euros one way (tickets are sold near the bus, read what you can buy at the ticket office, but we bought directly from the bus). The stop is an 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. Secondly, the Vatican and most sights are 15-30 minutes on foot. The staff is friendly and courteous. During the settlement we were told in great detail where and how to get there (we, of course, prepared, but it was very pleasant). Breakfasts are above all praise (there is even a juicer). Towels were changed every day. Yes, you can, of course, get stuck with not quite fresh plumbing, soundproofing, furniture. But you can look at it from the other side: the desire to preserve an authentic interior. There were questions with the wi-fi on Sunday (probably hung up), the rest of the days it was all ok. Yes, and happy hours: we usually took 25-27 thousand steps by 6:30 pm, so such a dinner (and this, indeed, can be considered as dinner) was very timely. So, thank you to the staff and hotel management! You guys did a great job!

I think the location of the hotel was excellent, it was in the centre of the city, but also far enough from all the tourist attractions. The bus-stops were near and a lot of good restaurants and bars. The staff was good, friendly, helpful and reliable, the hotel was always clean. There were also many magazines to read in many different languages. The price was ok too. A friend recommended this hotel to us and we could stay there again if we travel back to Rome some day.
The breakfast could''ve been better, but it was ok. The bed in the hotel room wasn't that comfortable and the pillows were flat. At night it was a little cold, so extra blanket could've been handy. The room wasn't very quiet, because of the noise that came from the street below. Also the hair-dryer was a bit old-fashioned and difficult to use. But all and all, there was everything we needed, and we were happy with our choice.
